IRISIntelligence offers a secure audit trail for internal and external assurance. Each time a risk is reviewed or amended a record is made that cannot be overwritten thus enabling organisations to demonstrate that they have actively managed their risk exposure.

The Secure Audit Trail includes:
- Unique record created every time a risk is actively reviewed or amended
- Details of the change, the date of the change and the individual changing the risk recorded
- Record created when risk reviewed but status confirmed to demonstrate active management even when no changes made
- Historic records cannot be overwritten
- Ability to add an explanatory note at the time of reviewing or amending a risk
