The 15th EXPOMIN event took place from the 23rd to the 27th of April where representatives from numerous countries met to showcase products and services developed for the mining sector. IRIS Intelligence was pleased to support and attend the Navy League Sea-Air-Space Event again this year. Sea-Air-Space took place in National Harbor, Maryland from April 9-12 2018.
IRIS joined almost 300 dynamic, innovative and sophisticated defense and maritime industry exhibits displaying the latest in technology and equipment. The expo featured High level discussions on important strategic policy issues, the most up-to-the-minute developments in policy, programs and needs for the maritime services. Panelists included high level representatives from the U.S. Departments of Defense, Homeland Security and State, the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard, and the Maritime Administration.
The Navy League’s Sea-Air-Space Exposition was founded in 1965 as a means to bring the U.S. defense industrial base, private-sector U.S. companies and key military decision makers together for an annual innovative, educational, professional and maritime based event located in the heart of Washington, DC. Sea-Air-Space is now the largest maritime exposition in the U.S. and continues as an invaluable extension of the Navy League’s mission of maritime policy education and sea service support.
Sea-Air-Space is “THE” Exposition to attend each year to display the most current information and technology relevant to maritime policy and IRIS looks forward to joining the event again in 2019.

IRIS intelligence attended AUSA 2017 in Washington D.C. to meet with customers and develop further links with the suppliers in defence sector. The AUSA annual meeting is the largest exposition and professional development forum for the Armed Forces in North America. This year AUSA 2017 attracted more than 26000 people from all over the world, including senior army leaders and top industry members.
The Annual Meeting consisted of informative and relevant presentations, panel discussions on pertinent military and national security subjects, workshops and important AUSA business meetings. The three-day event also included over 600 industry and military exhibits in five halls on both levels of the Walter E. Washington Convention Centre. Presentations on the state of the Army and related defence subjects were given by the Secretary of the Army, the Army Chief of Staff and other senior Army personnel.
Representatives from IRIS Intelligence were engaged in networking and discussion panels with other industry actors to gain a better insight and knowledge into the needs of our customers in the sector. We are constantly striving to adapt to rapidly evolving demands of the industry and continue to help the army be successful in today’s ever-changing world. G-Cloud 9, launched on May 22, 2017, has replaced the G-Cloud 8 framework. The new iteration of the framework classifies the offerings into three lots: Cloud Hosting, Cloud Software and Cloud Support.
